Norman Buchan Park

Another empty page!

Thankfully, someone else has found the time to write something about this part of Western Creek. Steven Cowley’s article, Guppies & geysers: memories of playing around and under Paddington in the 1970s, shares the childhood memories of his friend Rhonda, who grew up in Herbert Street in the 1970s. Among other things it tells of how Rhonda and her friends once amused themselves by searching for guppies, catching eels and exploring in the drains of Norman Buchan Park and the neighbouring Governor’s grounds.

I suspect that there are many more secrets underneath this park, and I look forward to uncovering them. If you know something, feel free to share it below or send me a message.
