A historic waterway that flowed through the suburbs and localities of Bardon, Rainworth and Milton before meeting the Brisbane River.

The creek incorporated the area known as Red Jacket Swamp, which spanned from the low-lying parts of the Governor’s residence to what is now Frew Park. Fragments of open streambeds still exist in the upper reaches, but most of the stream has been covered or converted into open concrete channels.
